Woman Critically Injured After Being Struck By Mercedes On Long Island

A woman is in critical condition after being struck by a Mercedes-Benz on Long Island.

The incident happened around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 30 in Manhasset.

According to Nassau County Police detectives, the 2014 Mercedes, operated by a 41-year-old woman, struck the 79-year-old victim near the intersection of Northern Boulevard and Allen Drive.

The victim suffered multiple assorted injuries and was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment. She was listed in critical but stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
